This Privacy Policy applies to the Fox in the Henhouse mobile application (package: games.lipz.fox_in_the_henhouse), developed by Lipz Games (John Joshua Lipio). It describes what data the App collects, why, and how it is handled.

02. Data We Collect

Local Device Storage

The App stores the following preferences locally on your device only using shared_preferences. This data never leaves your device:

  • ▸level_progress — your unlocked levels and high scores
  • ▸settings — SFX, BGM, and vibration preferences
Advertising — Google AdMob

Fox in the Henhouse displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use:

  • ▸Advertising ID (GAID on Android, IDFA on iOS) for ad personalisation
  • ▸Device information (OS version, device model) for ad targeting
  • ▸Approximate location (IP address) for geographic ad targeting
  • ▸Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

AdMob operates under Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalised ads via your device's ad settings.

Analytics & Diagnostics

Fox in the Henhouse uses Firebase (Google) for basic crash reporting and performance monitoring to ensure stability. This may collect:

  • ▸Device and OS information for crash logs
  • ▸Performance metrics to identify lag or bottlenecks
  • ▸Aggregated, anonymous usage statistics

03. Android Permissions

  • INTERNET Required for displaying ads and analytics reporting.
  • VIBRATE Used for haptic feedback during gameplay.
  • AD_ID Required for AdMob to serve relevant advertisements.

04. No Account Required

Fox in the Henhouse does not require account registration. No name, email address, or login credentials are collected by the App. All game progress is stored locally on your device.

05. Data Retention

Local data (shared_preferences) is retained until you uninstall the App or clear the App's storage. We do not operate any server-side storage for user data.

06. Children's Privacy

Fox in the Henhouse is designed for casual play and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
